Chaparral Steel Company (CHAP) Misses Q3 EPS by 31c, Revenues Beat
November 13, 2018 8:46 AM ESTChaparral Steel Company (NYSE: CHAP) reported Q3 EPS of ($0.27), $0.31 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.04. Revenue for the quarter came in at $66.72 million versus the consensus estimate of $58.56 million.
Chaparral continued to deliver strong operational and financial results in the third quarter, said Chief Executive Officer Earl Reynolds. Our STACK wells on average continued to outperform type curve expectations and drove considerable STACK production growth of almost 20% quarter-over-quarter.
