Quaker Chemical Announces Third Quarter 2018 Results
November 1, 2018 4:20 PM EDTCONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., Nov. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Quaker Chemical Corporation (NYSE: KWR) today announced a net sales increase of 4% to $222.0 million in the third quarter of 2018 compared to $212.9 million in the third quarter of 2017 driven by an increase in volume of 4% and selling price and product mix of 3% which offset a 3% negative impact from foreign exchange. This increase in net sales, coupled with a higher current quarter gross margin of 36.5% as compared to 35.1% in the prior year period, drove a $6.3 million or 8% increase in gross profit quarter-over-quarter. The Company's third quarter of 2018 net...
