Aetna Reports Third-Quarter 2018 Results
October 30, 2018 6:30 AM EDTHARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Aetna (NYSE: AET) announced third-quarter 2018 net income(1) of $1.0 billion, or $3.03 per share. Adjusted earnings(2) for third-quarter 2018 were $977 million, or $2.96 per share. Aetna's performance for the nine months ended September 30, 2018 resulted in net income of $3.4 billion, or $10.37 per share, and adjusted earnings of $3.2 billion, or $9.58 per share, for the nine months ended September 30, 2018.
