October 22, 2018 5:00 PM EDTDAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Oct. 22, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brown & Brown, Inc. (NYSE: BRO) (the "Company") today announced its unaudited financial results for the third quarter of 2018.
Revenues for the third quarter of 2018 under U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) were $530.9 million, increasing $55.3 million, or 11.6%, compared to the third quarter of the prior year, with commissions and fees increasing by 11.6%. Net income was $106.1 million, increasing $30.2 million, or 39.8%, and diluted net income per share was $0.38, increasing by 40.7%, compared to the third quarter of the prior year.
