Wintrust Financial Corporation Reports Record Third Quarter 2018 Net Income, an Increase of 40% Over Prior Year, and Year-to-Date Net Income of $263.5 million, an Increase of 39% Over Prior Year
October 17, 2018 4:52 PM EDTROSEMONT, Ill., Oct. 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wintrust Financial Corporation (Wintrust or the Company) (Nasdaq: WTFC) announced net income of $91.9 million or $1.57 per diluted common share for the third quarter of 2018 compared to net income of $89.6 million or $1.53 per diluted common share for the second quarter of 2018 and $65.6 million or $1.12 per diluted common share for the third quarter of 2017. The Company recorded net income of $263.5 million or $4.50 per diluted common share for the first nine months of 2018 compared to net income of $188.9 million or $3.23 per diluted common share for the same period of 2017.
