August 13, 2018 10:37 AM EDTAccording to the latest quarterly research from Strategy Analytics, Amazons (NASDAQ: AMZN) global smart speaker share of shipments fell to 41% in Q2 2018 from 44% in Q1 and 76% in Q2 2017. By contrast Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) has increased its share to 28% in Q2 2018, up from 16% during the same period last year. Elliott Associates Confirms 8.4% Stake in Nielsen Holdings (NLSN) - 13D
August 13, 2018 8:20 AM EDTIn a 13D filing on Nielsen Holdings (NYSE: NLSN), hedge fund Elliott Associates confirmed economic exposure of 8.4%, or 30,000,000 shares.
Earlier, the WSJ reported about the stake and said Elliott plans to push the company to sell itself.
