Hillenbrand Reports Fiscal Third Quarter 2018 Financial Results
August 1, 2018 4:37 PM EDTBATESVILLE, Ind., Aug. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hillenbrand, Inc. (NYSE: HI) reported results today for the third quarter of fiscal 2018, which ended June 30, 2018.
Third Quarter Results
Revenue of $446 million grew 13% over the prior year, including 3% positive foreign currency impact. The growth was driven by an increase of 22% in the Process Equipment Group, partially offset by a 6% decrease in the Batesville segment.
Net income increased $3 million to $36 million, or $0.56 per share. Adjusted net income of $37 million resulted in earnings per share of $0.57, an increase of 8% driven by strength in the plastics... More
