Altria Reports 2018 Second-Quarter and First-Half Results; Tightens 2018 Full-Year Earnings Guidance
July 26, 2018 7:00 AM EDTRICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Altria Group, Inc. (Altria) (NYSE: MO) today announced its 2018 second-quarter and first-half business results and tightened its guidance for 2018 full-year adjusted diluted earnings per share (EPS).
We continued our strong start to the year with adjusted diluted earnings per share growth of 18.8% in the second quarter. Our core tobacco businesses performed well as they continued to make strategic investments in support of their long-term objectives.
