Forward Air Corporation Reports Second Quarter 2018 Results and Quarterly Cash Dividend
July 25, 2018 4:05 PM EDTGREENEVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Forward Air Corporation (NASDAQ: FWRD) today reported operating revenue, income from operations, net income and diluted earnings per share for the three and six months ended June 30, 2018.
Operating revenue for the quarter ended June 30, 2018 increased 16.4% to $330.3 million from $283.9 million for the same quarter in 2017. Income from operations was $32.9 million, compared to $30.0 million in the prior year quarter. Net income during the period was $24.3 million compared to $19.7 million in the second quarter of 2017.
