Prosperity Bancshares, Inc.® Reports Second Quarter 2018 Earnings
July 25, 2018 6:30 AM EDTHOUSTON, July 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Prosperity Bancshares, Inc.® (NYSE: PB), the parent company of Prosperity Bank® (collectively, "Prosperity"), reported net income for the quarter ended June 30, 2018 of $81.597 million, an increase of $13.043 million or 19.0% compared with $68.554 million for the same period in 2017. Net income per diluted common share increased 18.2% to $1.17 compared with $0.99 for the same period in 2017. Additionally, loans increased 5.4% (annualized) during the second quarter of 2018 and nonperforming assets remain low at 0.16% of second quarter average interest-earning assets.
