Platform Specialty Products (PAH) Confirms Sale of Arysta LifeScience to UPL
July 20, 2018 7:46 AM EDTPlatform Specialty Products Corporation (NYSE: PAH) announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to sell its Agricultural Solutions business, which consists of Arysta LifeScience Inc. and its subsidiaries (collectively, Arysta), to UPL Corporation Ltd. (UPL) for $4.2 billion in cash, subject to customary closing conditions, adjustments and regulatory approvals. The agreement values Arysta on a debt free, cash free basis and is subject to customary working capital and other adjustments.
