Group 1 Automotive Increases Share Repurchase Authorization by $100 Million to $126 Million
May 16, 2018 4:07 PM EDTHOUSTON, May 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Group 1 Automotive, Inc. (NYSE: GPI), ("Group 1" or the "Company"), an international, Fortune 500 automotive retailer, today announced that its board of directors increased the Company's common stock share repurchase authorization by $100.0 million to $125.7 million. To date, during the second quarter of 2018, the Company has repurchased 222,098 shares at an average price per common share of $66.26, for a total of $14.7 million.  Purchases may be made from time to time, based on market conditions, legal requirements...
