Provident Financial Services, Inc. Announces Record First Quarter Earnings and Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend
April 27, 2018 8:00 AM EDTISELIN, N.J., April 27, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Provident Financial Services, Inc. (NYSE: PFS) (the Company) reported net income of $27.9 million, or $0.43 per basic and diluted share, for the three months ended March 31, 2018, compared to net income of $23.5 million, or $0.37 per basic and diluted share, for the three months ended March 31, 2017.
The increase in the Companys earnings for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 was driven by period-over-period growth in average loans outstanding, growth in both average non-interest bearing and interest bearing core deposits and an expansion of the net interest... More
