April 27, 2018 6:50 AM EDTDOWNERS GROVE, Ill., April 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Dover (NYSE: DOV), a diversified global manufacturer, announced its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2018.
First Quarter 2018 Financial Results (including Apergy):
For the first quarter ended March 31, 2018, Dover's revenue was $1.9 billion, an increase of 6% from the prior year. The increase in the quarter was driven by organic growth of 4%, acquisition growth of 1% and a favorable impact from foreign exchange ("FX") of 4%, partially offset by a 3% impact from dispositions.
