April 23, 2018 6:17 PM EDTPoplar Bluff, Missouri, April 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Southern Missouri Bancorp, Inc. (Company) (NASDAQ: SMBC), the parent corporation of Southern Bank (Bank), today announced preliminary net income available to common stockholders for the third quarter of fiscal 2018 of $5.3 million, an increase of $1.3 million, or 33.0%, as compared to the same period of the prior fiscal year. The increase was attributable to increases in net interest income and noninterest income, partially offset by increases in noninterest expense, provision for income taxes, and provision for loan losses.
