Caterpillar Inc. Maintains Dividend Rate
April 11, 2018 10:10 AM EDTDEERFIELD, Ill., April 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) voted today to maintain the quarterly cash dividend of seventy-eight cents ($0.78) per share of common stock, payable May 19, 2018, to shareholders of record at the close of business on April 23, 2018.
Caterpillar has paid higher dividends to its shareholders for 24 consecutive years and, since 2007, the company's cash dividend has more than doubled. Caterpillar has paid a cash dividend every year since the company was formed and has paid a quarterly dividend since 1933.
