Equifax (EFX) Tops Q4 EPS by 7c, Beats on Revenues

Equifax (NYSE: EFX) reported Q4 EPS of $1.42, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $1.35. Revenue for the quarter came in at $838.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $825.69 million.
Financial Results Summary

(Reuters) - Equifax Inc (NYSE: EFX) on Thursday reported quarterly results ahead of Wall Street forecasts, even as the consumer credit agency posted $26.5 million in costs related to last year's massive data breach.
The company posted quarterly per-share profit of $1.39, beating the average analyst forecast of $1.35, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S. Revenue rose 5 percent from a year earlier to $838.5 million, beating the average forecast of $825.7 million.
