Washington Trust Reports Fourth Quarter 2017 Earnings
January 30, 2018 4:05 PM ESTWESTERLY, R.I., Jan. 30, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: WASH), parent company of The Washington Trust Company, today announced fourth quarter 2017 net income of $8.0 million, or $0.46 per diluted share, compared to net income of $13.0 million, or $0.75 per diluted share, reported for the third quarter of 2017. Net income for the year ended December 31, 2017 totaled $45.9 million, or $2.64 per diluted share, compared to $46.5 million, or $2.70 per diluted share, reported for the prior year.
