Chubb Reports Fourth Quarter Net Income Per Share of $3.27; Core Operating Income Per Share was $3.17, up 16.5%; Full-Year P&C Net Premiums Written of $27.1 Billion, up 4.2%; Book Value and Tangib
January 30, 2018 4:05 PM ESTZURICH, Jan. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Chubb Limited (NYSE: CB) today reported net income for the quarter ended December 31, 2017 of $1,533 million, or $3.27 per share, compared with net income of $1,610 million, or $3.41 per share, for the same quarter last year. Core operating income was $1,489 million, or $3.17 per share, compared with $1,283 million, or $2.72 per share, for the same quarter last year. The property and casualty (P&C) combined ratio was 90.7% for the quarter.
