Southern Missouri Bancorp (SMBC) Report Prelim 2Q18 EPS Below Consensus
January 23, 2018 5:41 AM ESTSouthern Missouri Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMBC), the parent corporation of Southern Bank (Bank), today announced preliminary net income available to common stockholders for the second quarter of fiscal 2018 of $5.2 million, an increase of $1.0 million, or 23.8%, as compared to the same period of the prior fiscal year. The increase was attributable to increases in net interest income and noninterest income, as well as a reduction in provision for loan losses, partially offset by an increase in noninterest expense and provision for income taxes.
