AMAG Pharma (AMAG) Reports Presentations of Hypophosphatemia Data From AMAG Phase 3 Trial

(NASDAQ: AMAG) today announced data related to the occurrence of hypophosphatemia following intravenous (IV) iron treatment at a podium presentation at the 2017 American Society of Nephrology (ASN) annual meeting in New Orleans. The impact of the use of IV iron on phosphate metabolism was assessed as a secondary exploratory endpoint of the Phase 3 randomized, double-blind, non-inferiority clinical trial of Feraheme® (ferumoxytol) and Injectafer® (ferric carboxymaltose injection).
