October 31, 2017 4:05 PM EDTMCKINNEY, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Encore Wire Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select: WIRE) today announced improved results for the third quarter of 2017 and the nine months ending September 30, 2017.
Net sales for the third quarter ended September 30, 2017 were $292.0 million compared to $237.2 million during the third quarter of 2016. Copper unit volume, measured in pounds of copper contained in the wire sold, increased 0.7% in the third quarter of 2017 versus the third quarter of 2016.
