Forward Air Corporation Reports Third Quarter 2017 Results and Quarterly Cash Dividend
October 25, 2017 4:05 PM EDTGREENEVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Forward Air Corporation (NASDAQ: FWRD) today reported operating revenue, income from operations, net income and diluted earnings per share for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2017.
Operating revenue for the quarter ended September 30, 2017 increased 12.3% to $280.2 million from $249.6 million for the same quarter in 2016. Income from operations was $26.9 million, compared to $24.7 million in the prior year quarter. Net income during the period was $18.2 million compared to $11.9 million in the third quarter of 2016.
