October 16, 2017 5:31 PM EDTDAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Oct. 16, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brown & Brown, Inc. (NYSE: BRO) (the "Company") today announced its unaudited financial results for the third quarter of 2017.Â
Revenues for the third quarter of 2017 under U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) were $475.6 million, increasing $13.3 million, or 2.9%, compared to the third quarter of the prior year, with Commissions and fees increasing by 2.8% and Organic Revenue (as defined below) increasing by 3.4%. Net income was $75.9 million, increasing $4.5 million, or 6.3%, and diluted earnings per share were $0.53, increasing by 6.0%, compared to the third quarter of the prior... More
