Aetna Reports Second-Quarter 2017 Results
August 3, 2017 6:00 AM EDTHARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Aetna (NYSE: AET) announced second-quarter 2017 net income(1) of $1.2 billion, or $3.60 per share. Adjusted earnings(2) for second-quarter 2017 were $1.1 billion, or $3.42 per share. Aetna's strong second-quarter performance resulted in net income of $822 million and adjusted earnings of $2.1 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2017.
