Merck to Collaborate with Generex to Evaluate KEYTRUDA (pembrolizumab) in Combination with AE37 in Patients with Triple-Negative Breast Cancer

Merck (NYSE: MRK) (known as MSD outside the United States and Canada), through a wholly-owned subsidiary today announced that through a collaboration agreement with Generex Biotechnology Corporation and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Antigen Express, Inc has entered into a clinical trial to evaluate Antigens AE37 cancer vaccine in combination with Mercks anti-PD-1 (programmed death receptor-1) therapy, KEYTRUDA® (pembrolizumab), in patients with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer. The study will evaluate preliminary safety and efficacy of the combination in a Phase II trial.
