Plantronics Announces First Quarter Fiscal Year 2018 Financial Results
July 27, 2017 4:01 PM EDTSANTA CRUZ, Calif., July 27, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Plantronics, Inc. (NYSE: PLT) today announced first quarter Fiscal Year 2018 financial results. Highlights of the first quarter include the following (comparisons are against the first quarter 2017):
Net revenues were $203.9 million, a decrease of 8.6% compared with $223.1 million, and below our guidance range of $211 million to $221 millionGAAP gross margin was 50.6% compared with 50.7%  Non-GAAP gross margin was 51.9% compared with 51.1%GAAP operating income was $23.4 million compared with $31.3 million Non-GAAP operating income was $36.9 million compared with $38.7 millionGAAP diluted earnings per share (EPS) was $0.57 compared with $0.62, and within our guidance...
