KKR & Co. (KKR) Announces Partnership Agreement with LS Group in South Korea to form LS Automotive; LS Group to Own 53% of JV
July 27, 2017 5:57 AM EDTLS Group (LS), one of South Koreas largest diversified corporations, and KKR, a leading global investment firm, today announced the signing of a definitive agreement under which KKR will become joint partners with LS in LS Automotive (LSA or the Company), an electrical auto parts maker for the global automotive industry, and will additionally acquire LS Group affiliate LS Mtrons (LSM) copper foil and flexible copper clad laminate business (the CF/FCCL Business).

Toshiba board to meet Wednesday, weigh offers for chip unit: source
July 25, 2017 10:01 AM EDTTOKYO (Reuters) - Toshiba Corp's board will meet on Wednesday to consider offers for its chip unit from Western Digital (NASDAQ: WDC) and Taiwan's Foxconn in addition to a bid from a consortium that was previously favorite, a source familiar with the matter said.
