Net income for the three months ended June 30, 2017 totaled $3.3 million, or $0.40 per diluted share, compared with $700 thousand, or $0.08 per diluted share, for the same period in 2016. Net income for the six months ended June 30, 2017 totaled $5.3 million, or $0.65 per diluted share, compared with $3.3 million, or $0.40 per diluted share, for the same period in 2016.Gross loans outstanding at June 30, 2017, excluding loans held for sale, totaled $934.4 million, an increase of $51.0 million, or 11.6% on an annualized basis, compared with the balance of $883.4 million at December 31, 2016.
