Diana Containerships Inc. Reports Financial Results for the Second Quarter and Six Months Ended June 30, 2017

(NASDAQ: DCIX), (the Company), a global shipping company specializing in the ownership of containerships, today reported net income of $36.5 million, and earnings per common share of $18.39 (basic) and $17.27 (diluted) for the second quarter of 2017, compared to a net loss of $8.0 million, and a loss per common share of $6.13 (basic and diluted) for the same period in 2016.
