Abbott Reports Second-Quarter 2017 Results
July 20, 2017 7:45 AM EDTABBOTT PARK, Ill., July 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --Â Abbott (NYSE: ABT) today announced financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2017.
Second-quarter worldwide sales of $6.6 billion increased 24.4 percent on a reported basis and 2.9 percent on a comparable operational* basis. Reported diluted EPS from continuing operations under GAAP was $0.15 in the second quarter. Excluding specified items, adjusted diluted EPS from continuing operations was $0.62 in the second quarter, above the previous guidance range of $0.59 to $0.61.
