Liberty Tax Service Announces Fiscal Year 2017 Results
June 14, 2017 6:30 AM EDTVIRGINIA BEACH, Va., June 14, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Liberty Tax, Inc. (NASDAQ: TAX) (the Company), the parent company of Liberty Tax Service, today reported its results for fiscal year 2017. The Company reported total revenue of $174.0 million and GAAP earnings per share of $0.94. Non-GAAP earnings per share were $1.15.
The Company prepared 1.66 million tax returns in its U.S. offices compared to 1.83 million in the prior year. Total returns processed in Canada were up 8.8% to 0.36 million from 0.33 million.
