May 24, 2017 7:30 AM EDTFORT MYERS, Fla., May 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Chico's FAS, Inc. (NYSE: CHS) (the "Company") today announced its financial results for the fiscal 2017 first quarter ended April 29, 2017.
For the thirteen weeks ended April 29, 2017 (the "first quarter"), the Company reported net income of $33.6 million, or $0.26 per diluted share, compared to net income of $31.1 million, or $0.23 per diluted share, for the thirteen weeks ended April 30, 2016 ("last year's first quarter").
