Navistar Reports First Quarter 2017 Results
March 7, 2017 6:16 AM ESTLISLE, Ill., March 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV) today announced a first quarter 2017 net loss of $62 million, or $0.76 per diluted share, compared to a first quarter 2016 net loss of $33 million, or $0.40 per diluted share.  Revenues in the quarter were $1.7 billion, a decline of six percent compared to $1.8 billion in the first quarter last year. The decrease primarily reflects lower truck volumes due to soft Class 8 heavy industry conditions and lower global sales.
