February 22, 2017 5:30 PM ESTHIGH POINT, N.C., Feb. 22, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Stanley Furniture Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: STLY) today reported sales and operating results for the fourth quarter and total year ending December 31, 2016.Â
Fourth quarter 2016 financial results compared to prior year:
Net sales were $9.8 million compared to $13.8 million, down 29.0%. Gross profit margins were 20.2% compared to 25.0%.Selling, general and administrative expenses were $3.4 million, or 34.2% of net sales, compared to $2.7 million, or 19.9% of net sales.Net loss from continuing operations was $301,000 compared to net income from continuing operations of $919,000.A special...
