Avista Corp. Reports Financial Results for Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2016, and Initiates 2017 Earnings Guidance
February 22, 2017 7:05 AM ESTSPOKANE, WA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/22/17 -- Avista Corp. (NYSE: AVA) today reported net income attributable to Avista Corp. shareholders of $137.2 million, or $2.15 per diluted share, for the year ended Dec. 31, 2016, compared to $123.2 million, or $1.97 per diluted share for the year ended Dec. 31, 2015. Results for 2015 included $5.1 million, or $0.08 per diluted share, related to discontinued operations, which resulted from the sale of Ecova in 2014.
For the fourth quarter of 2016, net income attributable to Avista Corp. shareholders was $40.1 million or $0.62 per diluted share, compared to $38.5 million or $0.61 per diluted share for the fourth quarter of 2015. Results for... More
