Valley National Bancorp Reports Strong Increase In Fourth Quarter Net Income, Solid Net Interest Margin And Commercial Loan Growth
January 25, 2017 8:00 AM ESTWAYNE, N.J., Jan. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Valley National Bancorp (NYSE: VLY), the holding company for Valley National Bank, today reported net income for the fourth quarter of 2016 of $50.1 million, or $0.19 per diluted common share, as compared to the fourth quarter of 2015 earnings of $4.7 million, or $0.01 per diluted common share, and net income of $42.8 million, or $0.16 per diluted common share, for the third quarter of 2016.Â
