Global Eagle Entertainment (ENT) Tops Q3 EPS by 22c

Global Eagle Entertainment (NASDAQ: ENT) reported Q3 EPS of $0.23, $0.22 better than the analyst estimate of $0.01. Revenue for the quarter came in at $146.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $156.77 million.

Global Eagle Entertainment (ENT), Beijing Shareco to Form Inflight Connectivity Joint Venture

GEE (GEE) (Nasdaq: ENT) announced it has entered into a strategic alliance and an investment agreement with Beijing Shareco Technologies Co., Ltd. (Shareco), an affiliate of HNA Group, one of Chinas largest conglomerates. GEE and Shareco plan to create a joint venture (JV) to provide inflight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) in China and exclusively service aircraft operated by HNA airlines.
