Noble Corporation plc Reports Third Quarter 2016 Results
November 3, 2016 5:00 PM EDTLONDON, Nov. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Noble Corporation plc (NYSE: NE) today reported a third quarter 2016 net loss attributable to Noble Corporation plc (the Company) of $55 million, or $0.23 per diluted share, on revenues of $385 million. The results compare to net income attributable to the Company for the second quarter of 2016 of $323 million, or $1.28 per diluted share, on revenues of $895 million.
Second quarter 2016 results included net favorable after-tax items totaling $322 million, or $1.27 per diluted share, resulting largely from a contract cancellation agreement with Freeport-McMoRan and its subsidiary Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas (Freeport)... More
