Costco Wholesale Corporation Reports October Sales Results
November 2, 2016 9:00 PM EDTISSAQUAH, WA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/02/16 -- Costco Wholesale Corporation ("Costco" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: COST) today reported net sales of $9.11 billion for the month of October, the four weeks ended October 30, 2016, an increase of four percent from $8.78 billion during the similar period last year.
For the nine weeks ended October 30, 2016, the Company reported net sales of $20.17 billion, an increase of three percent from $19.53 billion during the similar period last year.
Comparable sales for the four-week and nine-week periods were as follows:
