Vectren Corporation Reports Third Quarter 2016 Results; Affirms 2016 Guidance

Vectren Corporation (NYSE: VVC) today reported third quarter 2016 net income of $61.4 million, or $0.74 per share, compared to net income of $39.3 million, or $0.48 per share, in the third quarter of 2015. For the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2016, net income was $142.0 million, or $1.71 per share, compared to $132.1 million, or $1.60 per share for the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2015.
