Acacia Research Reports Third Quarter Financial Results

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Acacia Research Corporation(1) (Nasdaq: ACTG) today reported results for the three months ended September 30, 2016.

Revenues for the third quarter of 2016 were $64,658,000, as compared to $12,994,000 in the comparable prior year quarter. GAAP net income for the third quarter of 2016 was $7,989,000, or $0.16 per diluted share, as compared to a GAAP net loss of $27,310,000, or $0.55 per diluted share, for the comparable prior year quarter.
