Freeport-McMoRan Reports Third-Quarter and Nine-Month 2016 Results
October 25, 2016 8:02 AM EDTPHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Freeport-McMoRan Inc. (NYSE: FCX):
Net income attributable to common stock totaled $217 million, $0.16 per share, for third-quarter 2016. After adjusting for net gains totaling $39 million, $0.03 per share, third-quarter 2016 adjusted net income attributable to common stock totaled $178 million, $0.13 per share. Consolidated sales (including volumes from Tenke Fungurume (Tenke), which is being reported as discontinued operations) totaled 1.2 billion pounds of copper, 317 thousand ounces of gold, 16 million pounds of molybdenum and 12.0 million barrels of oil equivalents (MMBOE) for third-quarter 2016, compared with 1.0 billion pounds of copper, 294 thousand ounces of gold, 23...
