AvalonBay Communities, Inc. Announces Third Quarter 2016 Operating Results
October 24, 2016 4:16 PM EDTARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AvalonBay Communities, Inc. (NYSE: AVB) (the Company) reported today that Net Income Attributable to Common Stockholders for the three months ended September 30, 2016 was $356,392,000. This resulted in an increase in Earnings per Share diluted (EPS) of 69.3% to $2.59 for the three months ended September 30, 2016, from $1.53 for the prior year period.
Funds from Operations attributable to common stockholders - diluted (FFO) per share for the three months ended September 30, 2016 increased 4.5% to $2.11 from $2.02 for the prior year period.
Core FFO per share for the three months ended September 30, 2016 increased 7.3% to $2.07 from $1.93 for the prior year... More
