FAIRFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Acme United Corporation (NYSE MKT: ACU) today announced that net sales for the third quarter ended September 30, 2016 were $31.9 million, compared to $29.9 million in the comparable period of 2015, an increase of 7%. Net sales for the nine months ended September 30, 2016 were $98.2 million, compared to $86.7 million in the same period in 2015, an increase of 13%.
