Culp Announces Results for First Quarter Fiscal 2017
August 30, 2016 4:15 PM EDTHIGH POINT, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Culp, Inc. (NYSE: CFI) today reported financial and operating results for the first quarter ended July 31, 2016.
Fiscal 2017 First Quarter Highlights
Net sales were $80.7 million, up 0.6 percent over the prior year, with mattress fabric sales up 5.7 percent and upholstery fabric sales down 6.9 percent. Pre-tax income was $8.5 million, up 15 percent compared with $7.4 million for the prior year period.
