Masonite International Corporation Reports 2016 Second Quarter Results
August 10, 2016 4:30 PM EDTTAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Masonite International Corporation ("Masonite" or "the Company") (NYSE: DOOR) today announced results for the three and six months ended July 3, 2016.
Executive Summary
Net sales increased $37.6 million, or 8% compared to the second quarter of 2015, to $514.0 million. Excluding foreign exchange, net sales would have increased 10%. Net income attributable to Masonite increased $20.0 million to $33.4 million in the second quarter of 2016, including a discrete $6.2 million tax benefit. Adjusted EBITDA1 increased $9.4 million, or 16%, to $68.5 million. Adjusted EBITDA margin increased to 13.3% in the second quarter of 2016.... More
