Nelnet Reports Second Quarter 2016 Results
August 4, 2016 5:10 PM EDTLINCOLN, Neb., Aug. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --Â Nelnet (NYSE: NNI) today reported GAAP net income of $26.2 million, or $0.61 per share, for the second quarter of 2016, compared with GAAP net income of $70.9 million, or $1.54 per share, for the same period a year ago.
Excluding derivative market value and foreign currency adjustments, net income was $48.0 million, or $1.13 per share, for the second quarter of 2016, compared with $63.5 million, or $1.38 per share, for the same period in 2015.
