Baldwin & Lyons Announces Results for the Quarter and Six Months
August 4, 2016 8:01 AM EDTCARMEL, Ind., Aug. 04, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Baldwin & Lyons, Inc. (NASDAQ: BWINA) (NASDAQ: BWINB) today announced second quarter after tax operating income, defined as net income before investment gains and losses, of $5.8 million, or $.39 per share, for the second quarter of 2016 compared to $6.5 million, or $.43 per share, during the second quarter of 2015. Net investment gains for the second quarter of 2016 were $0.2 million after tax, or $.01 per share, compared to net investment losses of $0.8 million, or $.05 per share, in the same quarter of 2015. In total, net income for the quarter was $6.0...
