August 4, 2016 6:52 AM EDTCott Corp. (NYSE: COT) reported Q2 EPS of $0.06, $0.11 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenue for the quarter came in at $765 million versus the consensus estimate of $766.83 million.

Cott Corp. (COT) to Acquire S&D Coffee in $355M Deal; Reports Q2 Results
August 4, 2016 6:51 AM EDTCott Corporation (NYSE: COT) announced its results for the second quarter ended July 2, 2016, and also announced that it has entered into a definitive stock purchase agreement to acquire S&D Coffee, Inc. ("S&D"), a premium coffee roaster and provider of customized coffee, tea, and extract solutions to the foodservice, convenience, gas, hospitality and office segments in the United States. The purchase price is approximately $355 million, on a debt and cash free basis, and represents a high 6X post synergy adjusted EBITDA multiple.
